Durch aktuell wieder steigende Zahlen und um die Veranstaltung für alle Teilnehmenden möglichst sicher zu gestalten, haben wir uns auf der Tafelrunde mit euren Lager- und Viertelorgas über mögliche Hygienevorschriften ausgetauscht. Dort waren wir einhelliger Meinung, dass wir das diesjährige EPIC EMPIRES mit folgenden Regeln durchzuführen:

Alle Teilnehmenden müssen beim Check-In einen gültigen Impf- oder Genesenenstatus vorweisen sowie ein negatives Bürgertestergebnis vorlegen, welches nicht älter als 24 Stunden sein darf. Der Nachweis muss hierbei über die Corona Warn App, als digitales oder ausgedrucktes Dokument erfolgen. Wir empfehlen euch bereits vor der Abfahrt in eurer Heimat testen zu lassen. Wir als Orga werden uns ebenfalls regelmäßig während des Aufbaus und der Veranstaltung testen lassen.

Da wir euch seit 2019 die bestehenden Preise sowie die Gültigkeit bereits gekaufter Tickets gewährleistet haben, müssen wir in diesem Schritt unsere AGB anpassen. Um einen großen, bürokratischen Aufwand zu vermeiden, könnt ihr den geänderten AGB mit der Personalisierung eurer Tickets zustimmen. Solltet ihr unter diesen Bedingungen nicht an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen wollen, kontaktiert bitte eure Lagerorgas bis spätestens zum 17. August, um die Rückgabe oder Weitergabe der Tickets zu besprechen. Danach werden große Teile der Orga auf dem Gelände sein und weitere Fälle nicht mehr bearbeiten werden können.

Welche Tests akzeptieren wir beim Check-In?

• Testnachweise von offiziellen Teststationen, also den sogenannten Bürgertest

Ich habe ein Attest, dass ich nicht geimpft werden kann, was mache ich jetzt?

• Kontaktiere uns bitte frühzeitig, bis spätestens zum 7. August, um das weitere Vorgehen abzustimmen.

Was passiert, wenn ich mit Symptomen anreise, aber mein Test negativ war?

• Generell appellieren wir hier an die Eigenverantwortung und empfehlen bei deutlichen Krankheitssymptomen jeglicher Art auf die Teilnahme an einer Con zu verzichten. Solltet ihr dennoch an der Con teilnehmen wollen, müsst ihr euch während der Veranstaltung in regelmäßigen Abständen bei den Maltesern auf dem Gelände testen lassen.

Ich habe während der Veranstaltung Symptome entwickelt, kann ich mich testen lassen?

• Generell müsst ihr euch während der Veranstaltung bei Erkältungssymptomen testen lassen. Wir stellen für solche Fälle während der Veranstaltung Tests bei den Maltesern bereit. Auch hier appellieren wir an die Eigenverantwortung. Isoliert euch lieber für einen kurzen Zeitraum, lasst euch testen und gefährdet so keine weiteren Teilnehmer. 

Was passiert, wenn mein Test bei der Veranstaltung positiv ist?

• In diesem Fall gilt eine sofortige Isolation und FFP2 Maskenpflicht. Da wir keine Möglichkeit haben, euch auf dem Gelände in Quarantäne zu bringen und zu versorgen, müsst ihr die Veranstaltung dann leider verlassen. In Absprache mit euch organisieren wir, dass eure Sachen abgebaut und zu eurem Auto gebracht werden. 

Ich bin als einziger meiner Fahrgemeinschaft positiv und fahre wieder heim. Was passiert mit meinen Mitfahrer:innen?

• Wenn deine Mitfahrer:innen weiterhin an der Veranstaltung teilnehmen wollen, müssen sie sich von nun an täglich bei den Maltestern testen lassen. Bei Bedarf können wir im Rahmen unserer Möglichkeiten bei der Organisation der Heimreise unterstützen. 
• Bitte macht euch gegebenenfalls bei Fahrgemeinschaften vorab Gedanken, wie ihr die Rückreise im Falle eines positiven Tests organisiert.

Gibt es auf dem Gelände eine Maskenpflicht oder andere Vorschriften?

• In den Sanitärcontainern herrscht Maskenpflicht 
• Wir werden in unserer Taverne keine eigenen Gefäße mehr haben, bringt euch also bitte eure eigenen mit. 
• Entgegen der Regelungen in den letzten Jahren, werden wir in diesem Jahr auch Seife zur Verfügung stellen.

Hygiene concept EPIC EMPIRES 2022

Due to rising numbers of Covid-19 cases in Germany and to make the event as safe as possible, we talked with your camp organizers at the round table. Together we decided the following rules for EPIC EMPIRES 2022:

All participants must present their valid vaccination and/or recovery status at the check-in, plus an official negative test result, which must not be older than 24 hours. The test result must be provided via the “Corona Warn App”, as a digital or printed document. We recommend that you get tested in your home country before you leave. We as the organizers of Epic Empires will also get tested ourselves on a regular basis during the set-up and the event.

As we managed to guarantee the 2019 ticket prices and kept the tickets you already bought valid, we now have to amend our Terms & Conditions to reflect these new requirements. To avoid any major bureaucratic hassle and additional tasks for you, you can simply accept the amended Terms & Conditions when personalizing your ticket. Should you decide not to accept the new Terms & Conditions, please get in touch with your camp organizers until 17 August 2022 to arrange the return or sale of your ticket to somebody else who wants to participate. After that date, the organizer teams will already be at the venue to prepare the event and won’t be able to handle these requests anymore.

Which kind of tests do you accept?

• The certificate must be issued by an official organization. This is the so-called “Bürgertest” (citizen’s test).

I have a medical certificate, that I can’t be vaccinated. Which options do I have?

• Please contact us as fast as possible till the 7th of August. In this case we will elaborate further actions together. 

What happens if I arrive with symptoms but my test was negative?

• In general, we appeal to personal responsibility and recommend not to participate at the larp if you have clear symptoms of any kind. If you still want to participate at the larp, you have to get tested at the Malteser tent in regular intervals during the event.

During the event, I developed symptoms of infection. Can I get tested?

• In general, you have to get tested during the event, if you show symptoms of a infection. For these cases, we will have tests ready with the Malteser first aid team. As usual, we appeal to your responsible behaviour. Isolate yourself for a short period of time, get tested and avoid endangering other participants.

What happens if my test is positive at the event?

• In this case, immediate isolation and FFP2 masks are mandatory. Since we do not have the possibility to quarantine you on the premises, you will have to leave the event. In close cooperation with you, we will arrange for your belongings to be packed up and taken to your car. 

I am traveling to the event with other people in the same car and have tested positive, so I will have to leave. What happens to the people who arrived with me?

• If these people want to stay and keep participating in the event, they will now have to get tested themselves on a daily basis with the Malteser first aiders. If necessary, we can try and support  them in organizing their trip back home. 
• If you are traveling to the event in a group, please put some thought into travel arrangements in case of a positive test for any of the people traveling with you.

Do I have to wear a mask during the event or are there any other rules?

• You have to wear a mask in the sanitary facilities.
• Please bring your own drinking vessels to our tavern.
• Contrary to the last years there will be soap in the sanitary facilities.
